CEV EuroVolley 2026 - Finally a championship on home soil! Not since 1989 has a championship in volleyball been arranged on Swedish soil. Now it's FINALLY time again and for the first time ever, our successful women´s volleyball team will play a championship in front of a home crowd.
After many years of great results and prominent placements such as 5th in the EuroVolley, winning the Golden League and now an upcoming World Cup adventure, Sweden will host the European Championship group stage in Gothenburg on August 21--27, 2026. The venue is Scandinavium, which will be transformed into a blue-and-yellow fortress during Sweden's five group matches. A total of 15 matches are played in Gothenburg.
